VBS VOLUNTEER POSITIONS LIST:

VBS LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBERS

Volunteer Coordinator: Responsible for filling volunteer positions for VBS with help from the director and co-director. Make sure volunteers complete the necessary training and have the necessary support to do their jobs well.

Registration: Responsible for registering families on-line, and making sure families have filled out the necessary paperwork. Also, for greeting families as they arrive and helping them find their appropriate group.

Assembly Leader: Responsible for identifying and coordinating necessary props and materials for assembly.

Missions: Help organize/plan the mission focus. Get the children excited about the mission project. Collect and count the mission offering and relay count each day.

Safety Team Coordinator: Coordinate safety team operations as needed.

Meal Coordinator: Coordinate with adult Sunday school classes about providing meals for each night of VBS

Health/First Aid Person: Be on site to ensure the health and safety of VBS attendees.

Outreach Lead: Coordinate outreach and communication efforts to the community.

ELEMENTARY VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Elementary Storyteller: Plan and implement storytelling curriculum. Choose appropriate activities and modify as needed. Prepare materials ahead of time. Will have support from director and co-director.

Elementary Crafts: Plan and implement craft curriculum. Choose appropriate crafts from choices given. Modify craft curriculum as needed. Prepare materials for crafts ahead of time. Will have support from director and co-director.

Elementary Recreation: Plan and implement recreation curriculum. Choose appropriate activities from the curriculum and modify them as needed. Will have support from director and co-director.

Elementary Science: Plan and implement science curriculum. Choose appropriate science activities from the curriculum and modify them as needed. Prepare materials for experiments. Will have support from director and co-director.

Elementary Snack: Plan and implement snack curriculum. Choose appropriate snack ideas from the curriculum and modify them as needed. Prepare snack items ahead of time. Will have support from director and co-director.

Elementary Guide Lead 1: Responsible for guiding children around to different station activities. Help maintain focus and engagement. Assist children with activities as needed.

Elementary Guide Lead 2: Responsible for guiding children around to different station activities. Help maintain focus and engagement. Assist children with activities as needed.

Elementary Guide Lead 3: Responsible for guiding children around to different station activities. Help maintain focus and engagement. Assist children with activities as needed.

Elementary Guide Lead 4: Responsible for guiding children around to different station activities. Help maintain focus and engagement. Assist children with activities as needed.
